Jill Hennessey is a Fee-Only, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

Jill received a BS in Biology from Tufts University and a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and, prior to becoming a Financial Planner, worked for many years as a genetic counselor and in various positions in the biotechnology industry. Jill chose to change careers in 2006 when her son was born and sought a profession that allowed her to use her counseling skills and her love of statistics. After much consideration, and to her surprise, she realized that financial planning was the right fit. Jill started her own financial planning firm more than ten years ago, joining Sax Wealth Advisors in April 2025.

Throughout her career, Jill has specialized in working with science and technology professionals with whom she shares a similar background.
