Linda joined SAX Wealth Advisors in January 2025 as a Principal and Wealth Advisor when Chesapeake Asset Management, the investment firm she founded in 1995 was merged with SAX. She works out of the Washington DC area office.

She began her business career as a corporate analyst and lender. After graduating from the Harvard Business School with her MBA in 1979, she worked as an internal consultant at Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, headquartered in Texas. With the support of a Canadian investor, she started a seminar business, Investing for Women, and led financial and investing seminars for women business owners around the country. Linda began working full time in the investment management business, first as an advisor to one family in Dallas and then expanding to manage portfolios of individuals, families and nonprofit organizations as a Vice President of investment firms in Dallas and Washington DC.

In 1995, she founded Chesapeake Asset Management Company, an investment management firm in Maryland that offered responsible investing advice. She has been a member of the Social Investment Forum for 15 years. Linda’s client focus is working with academics, writers and affluent women with principled agendas. She manages their investment portfolios and offers input and advice on the many aspects of their financial lives. She works hard to be a trusted and knowledgeable advisor.

Linda is an avid reader and participates in two book groups. She enjoys relaxing with friends to “solve the world’s many challenges,” learning more about nature, and practicing classical music and holiday sing along songs on the piano. Linda truly cherishes spending time with her beautiful and spirited daughter in Atlanta, and cavorting with Chloe, her 4-legged buddy on the Delaware beach.
